Green Jesus is a Scott Ballard soundtrack/ noise project. "Nails On A Pole" is the debut soundtrack without a movie. It's inspiration comes mostly from the love of 50's, 60's and 70's Scifi soundtracks. Most specifically Forbidden Planet (Bebe and Louis Barron, Ben Burtt) and Fantastic Planet (John Guerin). I made a tone generator - what I call "the eye of scrat" - with an optical sensor, much like a D beam. and fed it through a Boss ME-50 guitar processor. These are single track improvisations and intended to be a soundtrack. Good times. Enjoy.
